I love how so many different positives can come from these events. The sold out 200+ attendance Bethlehem screening was a catalyst for a number of grassroots groups to take action on hospital reform in the Lehigh Valley. The filmmakers are working on a model for direct community action to control hospital costs and to make hospitals fulfill their non-profit commitment to provide benefit to their communities.

Some of the notables in attendance included the Mayor of Bethlehem William Reynolds, the Former Mayor of Easton Phillip Mitman, the Former Mayor of Bethlehem John Callahan, the Lehigh County Board of Commissioner Dan Hartzell and Tara Zrinski, member of the North Hampton County Council and Joe Welsh of the Lehigh Valley Justice Institute.

Screenings continue through May and into June - hopefully you can come to one of the events.
