“Jon Reiss's modelling of the "PMD" in "Think Outside the Box Office" inspired us at SDI to explore new business models ourselves. We employed an in-house PMD for 3 years across a number of feature documentaries, developing campaigns and strategies for innovative releases. We launched a training programme for emergent PMDs "Make Your Market", for which Jon helped to mentor and keynote, emphasising the need to integrate a PMD in the production team early on.”
